Janhvi Kapoor on coming to terms with mother Sridevi’s loss

Janhvi Kapoor has been praised for her performance in her debut film ‘Dhadak’ which released on Friday. No doubt this experience would have been a difficult one without other mother Sridevi at her side. She’s recently spoken about dealing with the loss.

“No. I haven’t got around the acceptance stage yet. It’s just that there hasn’t been time or I haven’t allowed myself the time to come to terms with everything. There’s a stage of denial that we’re all going through,” said Kapoor, in a recent interview with Filmfare. “I wanted to shoot the next day (after the cremation). But the shoot got cancelled. I was like, No, I must go back, I need to be on the set”.

The new actress has also been very forthcoming in saying that had she not have been shooting for this film, she would have found it hard carrying on with life without her mother.
