James Murdoch could turn CEO of Disney if Fox strikes deal

With a sale of 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets to Disney looking ever likely, its now been reported that James Murdoch could replace Bob Iger of Disney if the deal is struck.

The Financial Times reports that Murdoch is likely to take a senior executive role with Disney. He currently is the CEO of Fox.

If Disney acquires Fox’s entertainment assets, then it would be responsible of Sky channels in Europe, Star TV India, Fox’s movie studio and cable channels in the US.

Iger is set to retire from Disney in 2019.
