Jail DGP makes shocking new claims about Sridevi’s death

It’s been over a year since the untimely demise of Bollywood’s first female superstar, Sridevi and while her death was registered as “accidental drowning”, a number of conspiracy theories have been doing the rounds since the death.

In a shocking twist to the saga, a Kerala newspaper has quoted a jail DGP, Rishiraj Singh alleging the death was not an accident but a murder. He reportedly claimed that his late friend, forensic surgeon Dr Umadathan pointed out several circumstantial pieces of evidence that proved the death was murder.

He claimed that the late doctor reasoned that “she would not drown” in the amount of bathtub water there was during the accident “without pushing by someone.”

It was also reported that a retired ACP of Delhi Police named Ved Bhushan claimed that he was not allowed to have a look at Sridevi’s hotel room. He ruled out “accidental drowning” by enacting the possible events in the adjacent room. He further added that many questions went unanswered.
