Priyanka Chopra’s next, ‘Jai Gangaajal’ is all set to release but is facing opposition from the censor board. Therewas adifference in opinions shared by the different members of the board, and the film went on to and was cleared by the Revising Committee
A source told Absolute India, “The film was viewed by the EC but they could not decide which category to rate the film, there were some who objected to certain words and dialogues. There were words like ‘saali’ and ‘p**h**da’ to which some members objected. There were some who objected to the violence in the film. Also, one of the proposals was UA certification of the film with cuts. The examining committee did not clear the word ‘bas***d’ so the trailer was sent to the Revising Committee which cleared the film.”
‘Jai Gangaajal’ is directed by Prakash Jha, andis slated to release on 4th March, 2016.
