Jacqueline Fernandez replaces Katrina Kaif in brand endorsement?

Jacqueline Fernandez Roy

Jacqueline Fernandez’s popularity meter seems to be increasing, as the latest reports suggest that she has become the new brand ambassador of an English toiletry brand, replacing the current brand ambassador, Katrina Kaif.

A report on Mid-Day says that the brand was looking for a fresh new face to represent them in the Indian market, and chose Fernandez based on a popularity survey. A source said, “Katrina has been associated with this particular company for the last two years. But now, they want a fresh face to take their new campaign forward. They approached Jacqueline recently on the basis of a popularity survey.”

A source close to Katrina denies the buzz, saying, “She is the only ambassador for the brand in India and will continue to be part of it. No one is replacing her.” Although, the rumor mills say that Fernandez has given a verbal agreement and not signed a contract and sources close to her also partly confirm the same, saying, “Yes, she has indeed been approached, but we are not sure if she will replace Katrina or be signed as the face of another product under the same brand.”

This is not the first brand where another Bollywood actress has joined Kaif for an brand endorsement, as Shraddha Kapoor also endorses the ‘Veet’ hair removal system alongsideher. It is only to be seen if Fernandez replaces Kaif or joins her in on it.
