When asked by��Filmfare��if she sees herself in films like ‘Black’ (2005) and ‘Barfi’ (2012), the actress said, “Absolutely. When I watched ‘Black’ and ‘Barfi’, I was left amazed at the way Rani Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra had performed respectively. Oh my God! I’d never be able to do that. But now, I’d love to take up such a challenge. It’ll be difficult because I’m not a born actor. I’ll have to train myself. Also Hindi is not my mother tongue. But I’m game!”

This year, Fernandez was seen in ‘Roy’, ‘Bangistan’ and ‘Brothers’. ��Her upcoming movies include, ‘Dishoom’, ‘A Flying Jatt’ and ‘Housefull 3’.
