Jacqueline Fernandez on not bagging ‘Veere Di Wedding’

Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Kapoor and self-confessed “besties” so when the latter is gearing up for her first female-bonding film, produced by sister Rhea, it might have come as a surprise for many that the former didn’t bag a role. Fernandez has spoken about the film.

According to Ahmedabad Mirror, the actress said, “It’s not a big deal when two actors are friends but when it’s two actresses, everyone’s going, ‘how?’. We are two normal humans; I was aware of Veerey Di Wedding since day one and the final cast (Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Tiku Talsania’s daughter, Shikha) is spot on.��Rhea really knows what she wants and a buddy film like this is what our cinema needs. I’m really excited”.

Fernandez is also about to make her small screen debut as a judge on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9’. She divulged, “There’s a sense of responsibility because of the contestants standing in front of you. It’s going to be a long journey, but I am looking forward to it”.

Fernandez will be seen next in ‘Dishoom’, which also stars John Abraham and Varun Dhawan, which will release on 29th July.
