Jacqueline Fernandez had made her Bollywood debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Aladin’ (2009). However, it was Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ (2014) which truly kick-started her career and in many ways re-launched the actress. Fernandez credits Salman Khan for this and feels she owes Khan a lot.
Speaking to DNA India, Fernandez said,”From the day I signed ‘Kick’, there has not been a single day I have not been working. This is the life I always wanted… ‘Kick’ re-launched my career… Salman has been very lucky for me… He genuinely supports me and he has believes in me and my work when I myself did not have so much confidence… He has encouraged me and for all these things I owe Salman a lot.”
Fernandez will next be seen in Vikramjit Singh’s ‘Roy’, along with Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor. The film is set to release on 13th February.
