Despite the presence of Salman Khan in the upcoming movie ‘Kick’, the film’s leading actress Jacqueline Fernandez feels her role hasn’t been sidelined. She even wonders why people are asking her such questions.
“I don’t even know why people are even asking me this question,” Fernandez told Hindustan Times, while answering if she has fears of being sidelined in the flick.
She also lauded the ‘Dabangg’ (2010) star for his enormous fan following and claimed that it comes as a great advantage for her to share screen with such a loved personality of the industry. “Salman is a superstar. People come to watch him in the movies and just for me to be part of a movie like this and to be with Salman Khan gives me such an advantage. So, no, I am not sidelined at all in this film,” she said.
Fernandez is looking at the movie as a huge break in her career. “It goes without saying that obviously it’s a big break…even for an established actress, it’s a very big deal (to work with Salman) and the same is for me. I am no different,” she said.
‘Kick’ is being helmed by producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala and is scheduled for an Eid release on 25th July.
