Jackie Shroff to play Akshay Kumar & Sidharth Malhotra’s father

Jackie Shroff has been confirmed to play the father of Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra’s father in Karan Johar’s upcoming remake of ‘The Warrior’.

The film, which revolves around two brothers who meet each other in the boxing ring, will see Shroff as their alcoholic father in the film.

Shroff confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “Like with any role, be it Parinda, Ram Lakhan or Dhoom 3, or any other film, I am excited about this one too. I have to shoot for this from September to January and we are working out the dates.”

The film will be directed by Karan Malhotra.
