Jackie Shroff or Anil Kapoor to star with Madhuri in Abhishek Varman’s next?

A few days ago Karan Johar had announced that Madhuri Dixit will be starring in one of his forthcoming films directed by Abhishek Varman, which was previously titled ‘Shiddat’.

It now has emerged that Jackie Shroff or Anil Kapoor could be seen as her male lead in the untitled film.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Jackie, who has been paired opposite Madhuri in several films, is being considered as the next option in case Anil doesn’t manage to adjust his dates. Anil has been very excited by a digital project, and may have to let that go if he signs this movie. So, he’s in two minds.”

It is rumoured that Dharma Productions shelved ‘Shiddat’ after the demise of Sridevi, who was going to be one of the stars in the huge productions before she passed away last month.
