‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ mini trailers on the way

Imtiaz Ali’s next, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, has been creating waves since the first posters were unveiled recently. The film’s trailer is apparently due to be attached to ‘Tubelight’ but it’s come to light that the film will have mini trailers releasing to drum up excitement.

This seems to be the strategy many filmmakers and PR teams are using these days. The same happened for Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ last year. Khan himself said in a statement, according to Bollywood Life, “The whole idea of ‘mini trails’ is to introduce Harry and Sejal, the two players amidst the beautiful love story. These trails will serve as moments from their journey which gradually lead to the bigger story that would unfold in the theatres”.

He further added, “Imtiaz has a special way of writing and shooting his scenes. Even the most simple of scenes have an underlying emotion or a sub-text within them. These ‘mini trails’ will highlight moments from our film, which Imtiaz so lovingly weaves into his tales. The thought behind these trails is to draw audiences closer to Harry and Sejal”.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma and is scheduled to release in August.
