Iulia Vantur to play Krishna devotee in Bollywood debut?

Salman Khan’s rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur took over recent headlines, when news of her Bollywood debut in a Prem Soni film broke. While there is yet to be an official announcement, Vantur will reportedly play a Polish girl who travels to India and becomes a Krishna devotee.

As according to Mirror, a source revealed, “She falls in love with the country and becomes a Krishna bhakt. The team had been looking for a foreigner who can speak Hindi but not too well for months. Iulia was approached recently. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule and expected to release by the summer of 2019. Jimmy Sheirgill has been signed on for a pivotal role too.”

Soni, who last directed ‘Ishkq in Paris’ (2013) confirms that Vantur has been approached, but doesn’t comment further on the same. He said, “So, I had to make my comeback with the right film. Yes, we have been in talks with Iulia and the production house will make an announcement soon. My producer, Prernaa Arora, has always backed content-driven films.”

Soni has also directed Khan in ‘Main aurr Mrs.Khanna’ (2009).
