ITV to host Asian Media Awards finalists event

The organisers of the Asian Media Awards have confirmed that this year’s finalist launch event will be held at the headquarters of ITV in London.

Also known as the London Studios, this is ITV’s main production base and is situated on the South Bank.

The event will be held on Monday 29th September, where organisers will announce the full list of shortlisted individuals and companies to this year�۪s awards.

The shows produced at the London Television Centre include ‘Good Morning Britain’, ‘Loose Women’, ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, ‘All Star Family Fortunes’, ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and ‘This Morning’.

Umbreen Ali, Media Manager said, ���We are delighted to be revealing the finalists to this year�۪s Asian Media Awards at the ITV Studios in London.

���It is wonderful to be showcasing the list at the home of ITV who are also one of our partners for the event again this year.�۝

A spokesperson for ITV said, ���We are delighted to be playing a part in celebrating diverse talent, by hosting this year’s Finalists launch at our London Studios, and to again be a partner for the ceremony, as it goes from strength to strength.�۝

The Asian Media Awards was first held in 2013 and aims to reward the contribution of members of the Asian media as well as recognise the ground breaking work of reporters, writers and producers in highlighting issues affecting race relations and human rights. Categories recognise excellence in journalism, TV, radio, marketing and social media.

This year’s main event will take place in Manchester in October.
