Shahid Kapoor has come a very long way since his early acting days, proving himself with unconventional roles in hard hitting subjected films. Just like any other serious actor, it seems he has mastered his own way in choosing the right projects to be a part of.

“People who associate themselves with good content, and have the courage to back quality stuff, are going to be successful,”��Hindustam Times reported Kapoor expressing. Whilst talking to the media about his career, the actor explained how despite being in a good place in his profession, “choosing the right content is tricky.”

Addressing the issues of being a part of the industry having it’s own risks, Kapoor added, “Whether they are actors, directors or producers, such people will try and create good content over and over again, and gain the confidence of the audience. Your intent has to reflect in your choices. Safe choices are not always safe.”

Despite having had low times in his career, Kapoor never steered away from what he wanted achieve from his films, and stuck to his principles of doing something he really believed in. He went on to say, “I��have said no to big films. Having said that, there are many film-makers, who I would love to work with. I have noticed that I have always performed well when I have worked with a credible film-maker. I would love to work with the right minds, and with the right people.”

Kapoor will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’, which will also star Saif Ali Khan and Kangna Ranaut. The film is set to hit the silver screens in 2017.
