After undergoing treatment in London for neuroendocrine tumour, Irrfan Khan fans have been waiting for news from him on his return to the silver screen.

The actor returned to Mumbai in February and has been rumoured to be in talks about beginning work on the sequel of ‘Hindi Medium’ (2017). Latest reports suggest that the film could be heading to the US and could be shot from April.

A source told The Asian Age, “While Hindi Medium was shot extensively in India, the sequel will be shot in the U.S. The story will revolve around the daughter, to be played by Radhika Madan, who leaves travels to the United States for her higher education.”

While the first ‘Hindi Medium’ also featured Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, she will be replaced with a Bollywood actress, with a search ongoing to find the perfect fit opposite Khan.
