Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Blackmail’ to release as per schedule

As we know Irrfan Khan has been struck down by a rare disease and many have been asking whether his current project ”Blackmail’ will release as per schedule.

According to DNA India, the makers of ‘Blackmail’ met up with Khan who said he unequivocally wants the film to release in the best way possible.

Producer Bhushan Kumar and Director Abhinay Deo, expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Khan for his integrity and professionalism. “I recently met Irrfan and even though he is battling his health, he was very excited about the initial response to the trailer and songs of Blackmail and was very keen that we released the film in the best possible way on April 6th as scheduled. We are all praying for him and I am confident that he will sit with us and watch the film on April 6,” said Deo.

Kumar added, “Our prayers are with Irrfan and his family. We are hopeful that he will recover from his illness. As per his wish, we will release ‘Blackmail’ on April 6 in the best possible manner.”

The teaser for ‘Blackमेल’ has been received positively by the audience, which see Khan running down the streets in his boxers with a bra stuck to his face. Further interest arose when a question at the end of the trailer asked – “What will you do if you find your wife in bed with someone else?”

Alongside Khan, ‘Blackmail’ stars Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall and Gajraj Rao. The film is slated to release on the 6th April 2018.
