Irrfan Khan hoping ‘Blackmail’ will “recreate ‘Hindi Medium’ magic”

Irrfan Khan who left the audiences wanting more after his last film ‘Hindi Medium’ (2017), is hoping his next, ‘Blackmail’ will also create the same magic.

Reported on TNIE, Khan is collaborating with T-Series again for ‘Blackmail’, this time directed by Abhinay Deo, said he is glad to be teaming up with Bhushan Kumar, “I am glad Bhushan Kumar from T-Series and I have got together for our next entertainer ‘Blackmail’. The film is a fantastic vision of Abhinay. I am hopeful that ‘Blackmail’ will recreate the magic.”

‘Hindi Medium’ (2017) which was directed by Saket Chaudhary and written by Zeenat Lakhani, will always hold a special place in Khan’s heart, and he explains why, “‘Hindi Medium’ will always be an important film for me as it was a story that was relatable and the reality depicted impacts most of us at some level. Audiences loving the film and the awards that the film bagged have made the journey exciting.”

‘Blackmail’ will see Kirti Kulhari star alongside Khan and is slated to release on the 6th April.
