Irrfan Khan excited for female-centric Hollywood film

Irrfan Khan is excited about his next female oriented Hollywood film.  The actor is currently in the US shooting for the film.

Khan, who is one of the most successful actors to make the transition into Hollywood, will feature in ‘Puzzle’.  The film is an adaptation of the Argentine film ‘’Rompecabezas’ (2010) and has been critically acclaimed at various festivals.

Speaking to Times Of India, Khan said he was intrigued by the script which follows a woman who has a gift for assembling puzzles.  “The unique female-oriented script of ‘Puzzle’ drew me to it” said Khan.  Rather than being deterred by the fact its female centric Khan added “I was waiting for a Hollywood subject like this. It has come to me after a long time. It offers new challenges to me as an actor.”

Khan is no stranger to female-backed films having also starred in ‘Piku’ (2015).

‘Puzzle’ also stars Kelly Macdonald and David Denman.
