Inmates at Tihar prison get ‘Sarbjit’ screening

Just two weeks after��the release, there has been much praise��for Omung Kumar’s ��Sarbjit,�۪ which stars Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda.

Recent reports say that the film has been declared tax free in the state of Uttar Pradesh.��In addition to that, according to Deccan Chronicles, sources have said that the film will now also be shown to inmates in Tihar prison. It is said that the inmates get to watch a film every five years, the last one being in 2011.

Vashu Bhagnani who produced ��Sarbjit�۪ had written to the jail authorities asking for them to show the film for the inmates. Apparently there will be four showings a day over four days.

Lets hope there will be enough popcorn to go around!
