Industry mourns the loss of ‘curry king’ Enam Ali

The industry has been expressed profound sadness and grief over the loss of Enam Ali MBE, the founder of the British Curry Awards. He was touted as the ‘curry king’.

Ali had immense respect in the community and was a successful restaurateur and businessman. His other businesses included Le Raj restaurant, ION TV and Spice Business Magazine.

He had been hospitalised a few weeks ago and passed away on Saturday.
