Indra Kumar to cast daughter Shweta in ‘Dil’ sequel?

‘Great Grand Masti’ producer-director Indra Kumar is currently busy promoting his latest offering to the silver screen but he has already decided on his next venture; a sequel to yesteryear classic, Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer, ‘Dil'(1990).

According to reports, Kumar has already chosen his daughter Shweta Kumar to essay the role of female protagonist. Her earlier films include, ‘Karzzzz’ (2008) and ‘Super Nani’ (2014).

Reports by publication��Mid-Day��confirm a source said, “For the last several years, Kumar had been planning Dil 2 and has now greenlighted the script for the sequel. He had earlier stated that he could not cast Aamir in the second outing as he would not fit the role now.”

As Kumar has decided to cast his own daughter��in the movie, it is suspected he will also choose to sign a young known hero opposite her, as opposed to a newcomer.
