‘India’s Got Talent’ selects final nine acts for grand finale

With the grand finale of ‘India’s Got Talent’ taking place this weekend, the show has confirmed it’s final nine acts.

The finalists include six performances chosen by the nation and three by the judges�۪ choice. The talented performers chosen by the nation are Punjab�۪s Sikh Martial Arts Group – Bir Khalsa; Drummer – Teji Toko from Arunachal Pradesh; Shillong Chamber Choir from Meghalaya; Fictitious Dance Group from Mumbai; Sonjoy Mondol Group from Kolkata and popping and locking expert, Harihar Dash from Orissa. The talented acts hand-picked by the judges are the Dancing duo, Diwakar and Sonia from Delhi; sand artists from Orissa – Manas Kumar Sahoo and Group and Underground Authority ��� rock band from Kolkata.

The second series, which ran over three months will end on Saturday 2nd October. The conclusion of this show will see the launch of ‘Bigg Boss’.

Articulating the excitement surrounding the show�۪s finale, Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head of Colors said, ���This year with India�۪s Got Talent, we reached out to many more cities and towns in the country to discover unique and entertaining performances. As a result, viewers got an exciting mix of acts that were bigger, better and more entertaining than what is seen on Indian television before. Speaking about the show, Sajid Khan said, ���I am proud to have been a part of this fantastic show.
