Indian reporter shot dead in Raipur

An Indian journalist was gunned down by two masked men outside his home after receiving death threats related to an article he had written.

Umesh Rajput, 32, a journalist employed by the newspaperNai Duniya��was shot on the evening of Sunday 23rd January.

A message written in red letters was found at the murder scene. It said, “If you don�۪t stop publishing news, you will die.”
