India Ratings: ZEE TV, Star Plus & Colors remain top in Urban sector

The pecking order in latest India ratings remained relatively unchanged with ZEE TV, Star Plus and Colors topping the Urban sector, according to Week 20 of 2018 data from BARC India.

ZEE TV was at the No.1 position with 316.640 million Impressions, followed by Star Plus with 303.672 million Impressions and Colors with 281.733 million Impressions. In fourth place was Sony SAB TV with 277.227 million Impressions and Star Bharat next with 268.089 million Impressions.

The top performers in the Urban sector were ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.695 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 5.892 million Impressions and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ also on ZEE TV with 5.268 million Impressions. Star Plus’ recently launched show ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ entered the Top 5 with 4.500 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol stayed well ahead of its rivals with 706.441 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 496.544 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 390.330 million Impressions. Star Utsav was at No.4 with 303.090 million Impressions and Star Bharat was next with 286.803 million Impressions.

The top performers in the Rural region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 10.685 million Impressions, followed by ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek’ on ZEE Anmol with 6.630 million Impressions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony Pal with 5.062 million Impressions.

In the combined Urban & Rural region, ZEE Anmol was the biggest Hindi entertainment channel with 912.883 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 679.799 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 571.922 million Impressions. At No.4 was Star Bharat with 554.893 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth place with 515.794 million Impressions.

The top performers in the combined Urban & Rural data were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 13.366 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10.902 million Impressions and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 9.453 million Impressions.
