India Ratings: ZEE TV rules in U&R markets

ZEE TV dislodged Star Bharat from the top of India ratings in combined Urban & Rural Indian television viewing data for Week 46 of 2017 from BARC India.

ZEE TV impressed with 677.155 million impressions, followed by ZEE Anmol with 664.328 million impressions and Star Bharat in third with 656.578 million impressions.

The top rated shows in the Urban/Rural market were:
1. Kundali Bhagya on ZEE TV with 12.491 million impressions
2. Kumkum Bhagya on ZEE TV with 11.938 million impressions
3. Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Sony SAB TV with 9.704 million impressions

In the Urban market, Colors retained the top position with 451.438 million impressions, followed by ZEE TV with 411.746 million impressions and Star Plus in third with 361.675 million impressions. Sony SAB TV was in fourth with 305.645 million impressions and Star Bharat next with 305.632 million impressions.

The top rated shows in the Urban market were:
1. Kundali Bhagya on ZEE TV with 7.580 million impressions
2. Kumkum Bhagya on ZEE TV with 7.430 million impressions
3. Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Sony SAB TV with 6.643 million impressions

In the Rural market, ZEE Anmol stayed ahead with 508.374 million impressions, followed by Sony Pal with 437.806 million impressions and Star Bharat at No.3 with 350.947 million impressions. The next were Star Utsav with 327.616 million impressions and Rishtey with 303.222 million impressions.

The top rated shows in the Rural market were:
1. Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Sony Pal with 7.202 million impressions
2. Baalveer on Sony Pal with 7.057 million impressions
3. Ganga on ZEE Anmol with 5.549 million impressions
