India ratings: ZEE TV holds on to No. 2 spot

The latest Indian television ratings are dominated with headlines surrounding the record launch of &TV, however, its 20-year old sister channel, ZEE TV has held on to the number two position.

According to official data from TAM for Week 10 of TAM, Star Plus stayed top but was slightly down in its numbers. It recorded 604 GTVM (last week 638 GTVM), followed by ZEE TV with 427 GTVM, also down from last week 442 GTVM and Colors in third with 424 GTVM (last week 418 GTVM).

The next tier consisted of Life Ok with 314 GVTM (last week 312 GVTM), followed by SAB TV with 312 GTVM (last week 265 GTVM) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 247 GTVM with (last week 235 GTVM).

The bottom tier consisted of new channel &TV with a record 91 GVTM, followed by Big Magic with 40 GTVM, Sony Pal with 38 GVTM, Zindagi with 22 GVTM and Epic with 8 GVTM.
