India ratings: ZEE TV gets closer to No.2
While Star Plus ruled the Indian television ratings, it was a close fight between Colors and ZEE TV for the second position, according to Week 6 data from BARC India {HSM: NCCS All: 4+ Individuals: BARC India base ��� All India (U+R), Impressions (000s)}.
Star Plus registered 711158 Impressions (last week 724223), followed by Colors in second place with 689432 Impressions (last week 713106) and ZEE TV not far behind with 686349 Impressions (last week 684106). ZEE Anmol was in fourth with 669828 Impressions (last week 540883) and Star Utsav with 437543 Impressions (last week 355093).
The next tier consisted of Life Ok in sixth with 437228 (last week 425211), followed by Sony Pal with 397413 (last week 330874), Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 349537 (last week 338638), DD National with 348202 and Rishtey in tenth with 343724 (last week 289121).
The top rated show in India remained ‘Naagin’ on Colors with its best ever rating – 20680 Impressions (last week 19573), followed by India Vs Sri Lanka – second T20 on DD National with 16312 Impressions. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV was in third with 14261 Impressions (last week 14587). India Vs Sri Lanka – first T20 on DD National was in fourth with 13992 Impressions and ‘Jodha Akbar’ on ZEE Anmol with 13447 Impressions. Incidentally, no Star Plus shows ranked inside the Top 5.
