India ratings: ZEE TV gains; STAR Plus still top

In the latest round of India ratings, STAR Plus retains the top slot with a channel share of 26 per cent. However, its GRPs have fallen slightly to 311 in Week 12 from 322 in Week 11.

According to data released by TAM Media Research, Colors is holding the number two position. Its market share has increased by 2 per cent from the last week to 22 per cent in Week 12. It had 262 GRPs in the latest week as compared to last week�۪s 250 GRPs.

ZEE TV’s attempt to recover lost ground seems to be working. It has witnessed a rise in GRPs from 192 in Week 11 to 222 in Week 12. Its relative channel share has increased from 15 per cent to 18 per cent.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has seen a decline in Week 12, again. In Week 11, its GRPs had jumped from 88 to 112, but, have fallen to 80 in Week 12. Its relative channel share in Week 12 has decreased to 7 per cent, from 9 per cent in Week 11.

NDTV Imagine, STAR One, SAB and Sahara One have channel shares of 6 per cent, 5 per cent, 4 per cent and 3 per cent respectively. They had GRPs of 72, 63, 50 and 42 respectively.
