India ratings: ZEE TV climbs back to second

ZEE TV has bounced back up to the second position in the Indian TV ratings on the back of the ZEE Cine Awards, which added 94 TVMs to its total viewership.

According to official data from TAM for Week 8 of 2014, Star Plus remained the market leader but lost 51 TVM. It delivered 637 TVM with a relative share of 24.5% (last week 688 TVM). ZEE TV was at number two with ‘Dance India Dance’ and ZEE Cine Awards proving a massive success. It recorded 548 TVM with a relative share of 21.08% (last week 454 TVM). Colors was next with with 465 TVM, losing 37 TVM. It had a relative share of 17.88% (last week 502 TVM).

Star Life Ok was back up with 341 TVM – up from 318 last week. Sony Entertainment Television Asia was fifth – down by 33 TVM to 306 TVM. Sony SAB TV was in sixth with 303 TVM.
