India ratings: ZEE TV bounces back to second place

ZEE TV climbs back in India ratings

ZEE TV jumped back to second place in the latest round of India TV ratings, according to official data from TAM for Week 2 of 2014.

Star Plus continued to dominate the ratings with an impressive 629 million with a relative share of 25.03% (last week 647 million TVT with 25.19% relative share).

ZEE TV delivered 488 million TVT with a relative share of 19.42% (last week 449million with 17.48% relative share).

Without ‘Bigg Boss 7’, Colors slipped to third with 457 million. It had a relative share of 18.19% (last week 522 million TVT with 20.33% relative share).

Star Life Ok was back to fourth place with 338 million against last week�۪s 323 million.

Sony SAB TV slipped back to fifth place with 338 million TVT with 13.45% relative share (last week 361 million TVT and 14.06% relative share).

Sony Entertainment Television Asia lost more viewership and remained sixth with 263 million. It had a relative share of 10.47% relative share (last week 266million TVTs with 10.36% of relative share).

Amongst the shows, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ remained on top overall in India with 12.6, followed by ‘Saathiya’ with 10.7 and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 8.7.

On Colors, the two new shows ‘Ranrasiya’ (2633) and ‘Beintehaa’ (2564) slipped in the ratings.

On Sony Entertainment Television Asia, ‘Ek Nayi Pehchaan’ did well with 2.0 – up from 1.9 last week and ‘Main Na Bhulungi’ up too from 0.8 to 1.0.
