India ratings: ‘Talaash’ & ‘ChhanChhan’ boosts Sony
The World TV premiere of ‘Talaash’ and the launch of new fiction ‘ChhanChhan’ boosted the performance of Sony Entertainment Television Asia in Week 13 of 2013, according to official data from TAM.
While there was no change in pecking order amongst the Hindi entertainment channels, ‘Taalash’ grabbed a 2.3 TVR for the channel, while ‘ChhanChhan’ debuted with an average 1.4 TVR. Overall, the channel got 175 GRPs this week (last week 155).
Star Plus remained the undisputed market leader with a static rating. The Star Guild Awards fetched 3.7 TVR for the channel. The channel delivered 291 GRPs this week (last week 291).
ZEE TV was in second place with 207 GRPs (last week 207). The Holi special episode of ‘Sapne Suhane Ladkan Pe’ got 3.5 TVR.
Colors was in third with 191 GRPs this week (last week 192). Femina Miss India on Colors fetched 0.8 TVR.
Sony TV was in fourth with 175 GRPs this week (last week 155).
Sony SAB TV delivered 159 GRPs (last week 142) – the Holi special show got an impressive 3.1 TVR.
Star Life Ok was next with 119 GRPs this week (last week 128).
Sahara One was down to 22 GRPs (last week 24).
