India ratings: Star Plus touches new low of 2012

Star Plus has witnessed a significant loss for the first time in 2012.

According to data supplied by TAM for week 30 of 2012, Star Plus recorded 243 GRPs this week (last week 254). Previously, the channel had delivered a low of 248 GRPs during the IPL tournament.

A resurgent Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in second with 235 GRPs this week (last week 228). ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ continued to be the channel driver with 5.6 TVR for the special episode aired on Thursday 26th July. It contributed 46 GRPs for the channel while the show averaged at 4.8 TVR for the week.

Colors was back in third with 228 GRPs (last week 214).

ZEE TV slipped to fourth with 222 GRPs (last week 221).

Sony SAB TV was in fifth with 132 GRPs (last week 129).

Life Ok delivered 107 GRPs (last week 101).

Sahara One performed with 41 GRPs (last week 42).
