India Ratings: Star Plus strengthens at No.1; ZEE TV moves up
Star Plus continued to strengthen its position at No.1 in latest India ratings (Urban region) for Week 17 of 2019 from BARC India.
Urban region
Star Plus delivered 467679 million Impressions, up from 439028 million Impressions last week. This was followed by ZEE TV with 347374 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television with 345604 million Impressions. In fourth, Colors registered 341098 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV with 311591 million Impressions.
The top performing shows in the region were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6561 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6490 million Impressions and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 5788 million Impressions.
Rural region
Dangal remained the leading Hindi entertainment channel in the region with 842857 million Impressions, followed by Big Magic with 609225 million Impressions and ZEE TV with 226030 million Impressions. At No.4, Star Plus delivered 224546 million Impressions and Colors with 167504 million Impressions.
The top performing shows in the region were ‘Ramayan’ on Dangal with 10228 million Impressions, followed by ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’ on Dangal with 9344 million Impressions and ‘Baba Aiso Var Dhundo’ on Dangal with 6506 million Impressions.
U & R combined data
Dangal continued to lead overall in combined data with 1081105 million Impressions, followed by Big Magic with 797198 million Impressions and Star Plus with 692226 million Impressions. In fourth place, ZEE TV raked in 573404 million Impressions and Colors with 508602 million Impressions.
The top performing shows in the region were ‘Ramayan’ on Dangal with 12471 million Impressions, followed by ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’ on Dangal with 11259 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10989 million Impressions.
