India ratings: Star Plus stays top, ZEE TV back at two

'SaraswatiChandra' makes impressive start on Star Plus

Whilst there was change in the second spot, Star Plus remains India’s most watched Hindi entertainment channel, according to latest data supplied by TAM for Week 9 of 2013.

Star Plus extended the lead by 17 points, delivering a total of 265 GRPs (last week 248). The channel’s big budget ‘SaraswatiChandra’, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali notched up 2.1 TVR for its launch episode.

ZEE TV bounced back at number two with 226 GRPs this week (last week 231). Its latest reality TV show ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ climbed to an impressive 4.4 TVR.

Colors was next with 220 GRPs (last week 235).

Sony Entertainment Television Asia delivered 170 GRPs (last week 188).

Sony SAB TV was back in fifth place with 138 GRPs (last week 138).

Star Life OK was back down to sixth by losing 12 points. It recorded 132 GRPs (last week 144).

Sahara One was steady with 26 points (last week 26).
