India ratings: Star Plus stays top, fight at No.2

While Star Plus remained the dominant player in the latest round of Indian television ratings, the fight was on between three channels for the number two slot.

According to data for Week 38 of 2012, Star Plus delivered 252 GRPs (last week 250). The second spot was divided between ZEE TV, Colors and Sony Entertainment Television Asia. ZEE TV was marginally ahead with 235 GRPs (last week 240). Colors was in third with 233 GRPs this week (last week 230). Sony TV only a point behind with 232 GRPs (last week 230).

Sony SAB TV was back in fifth with 131 GRPs this week (last week 138). Star Life Ok lost 43 points from last week. It managed to jump to record viewership then mainly down to the success of ‘Mahadev’. Life Ok stood at 124 GRPs (last week 167).

Sahara One is struggling at the bottom with a low of 29 GRPs this week (last week 34).
