India ratings: Star Plus stays at No.1 but loses eyeballs
Star Plus remained India’s most watched Hindi entertainment channel despite losing most eyeballs in official ratings from BARC for Week 9 of 2016 {HSM: NCCS All: 4+ Individuals: BARC India base ��� All India (U+R), Impressions (000s)}.
Star Plus registered 677342 Impressions but was down considerably on seven days ago (last week 768495). It was followed by Colors with 667036 Impressions (last week 725868) and ZEE TV in third with 626362 Impressions (last week 645473).
The next tier consisted of ZEE Anmol in fourth place with 594218 (last week 625553), followed by DD National with 509504, Sony Pal with 500119 (last week 477372), Star Utsav with 486353 (last week 492907), Life Ok in eighth with 435372 (last week 437776), Rishtey next with 410192 (last week 372527) and SAB TV in tenth with 384177 (last week 363158). Sony Entertainment Television Asia dropped outside the Top 10.
The most watched programme during this week was DD National’s Asia Cup coverage between India and Pakistan with 24804 Impressions, followed by ‘Naagin’ on Colors with 19564 (last week 20229) and India Vs Sri Lanka Asia Cup game with 19501 Impressions.
