India ratings: Star Plus & Sony Pal stay ahead
There was no major change in the pecking order in latest India television ratings from BARC India for Week 18 of 2017.
Star Plus was the ultimate leader as India’s most watched Hindi entertainment channel with 430.571 million Impressions, followed by Colors with 361.397 million Impressions and ZEE TV with 286.474 million Impressions. Sony SAB TV was in fourth with 261.771 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television remaining in fifth with 240.272 million Impressions.
The top rated show in the Urban region was ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Colors with 6.492 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.443 million Impressions and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ on Star Plus with 6.008 million Impressions.
Sony Pal stayed strong at No.1 in the Rural sector with 447.480 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 365.513 million Impressions and ZEE Anmol at No.3 with 341.417 million Impressions. Star Utsav was placed next with 274.588 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 202.288 million Impressions.
The top rated show in Rural region was ‘Baalveer’ on Sony Pal with 5.722 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ also on Sony Pal with 5.652 million Impressions and ‘Jamai Raja’ on ZEE Anmol was in third place with 5.571 million Impressions.
