With the onslaught of the Indian Premier League, Star Plus has managed to climb its way back to the top to share the position with IPL broadcaster, Sony MAX.
According to official data for Week 18 from TAM, both Star Plus and Sony MAX registered 224 GRPs this week. Last week there were 33 GRPs separating the two broadcasters.
ZEE TV was in second place amongst the Hindi entertainment channels – losing 16 points this week. It garnered 175 GRPs (last week 191). Colors gained 2 points this week with 166 GRPs (last week 164). Sony Entertainment Television Asia was next with 154 GRPs (last week 150).
Sony SAB TV recorded 131 GRPs (last week 125). Star Life Ok pulled in 102 GRPs this week (last week 101).
Sahara One got 15 GRPs (last week 20).
