India ratings: Star Plus rules; Colors gains

Star Plus remained India’s preferred Hindi entertainment channel, according to latest data from BARC for Week 25 of 2017.

In Urban data, Star Plus scored 400.256 million Impressions, followed by Colors with 332.766 million Impressions and Sony SAB TV fell to No.3 with 309.667 million Impressions. In fourth was ZEE TV with 287.719 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television at No.5 with 274.566 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Urban region was DD National’s ICC Champions Trophy finals Pakistan and India with 8.631 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at No.2 with 6.092 million Impressions and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ on ZEE TV with 6.033 million Impressions.

ZEE Anmol was the most watched Hindi entertainment channel in the Rural region with 460.492 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 416.163 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 405.741 million Impressions. At No.4 was DD National with 243.874 million Impressions and Star Utsav next with 222.847 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region was DD National’s ICC Champions Trophy finals Pakistan and India with 13.894 million Impressions. It was followed by ‘Jamai Raja’ on ZEE Anmol with 6.064 million Impressions and ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Rishtey with 5.004 million Impressions.
