India ratings: Star Plus returns to No.1 in Urban data

After a week away from the top position, Star Plus returned to No.1 in the Urban market, according to Week 39 of 2017 data from BARC India.

Star Plus delivered 384.979 million Impressions (last week 387.250 million), followed by Colors with 368.820 million Impressions (last week 382.392 million) and ZEE TV in third with 367.046 million Impressions (last week 402.089 million). In fourth place was Sony Entertainment Television with 360.545 million Impressions (last week 377.352 million) and Sony SAB TV with 258.587 million Impressions (last week 264.544 million).

The top rated show in the Urban region was ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Sony Entertainment Television with 6.676 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 6.262 million Impressions and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 5.892 million Impressions.

ZEE Anmol led the Rural market with 517.785 million Impressions (last week 542.022 million), followed by Sony Pal at No.2 with 362.521 million Impressions and Rishtey in third with 320.714 million Impressions. In fourth was Star Bharat with 308.592 million Impressions and ZEE TV next with 257.629 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region was the third and fourth ODI between India and Australia on DD National with 7.581 million Impressions and 6.472 million Impressions, followed by ‘Baal Veer’ on Sony SAB TV with 5.436 million Impressions (last week 6.121 million).

In combined Urban and Rural markets data, ZEE Anmol ruled with 661.111 million Impressions (last week 700.182 million), followed by ZEE TV with 624.676 million Impressions and Star Plus in next position with 566.586 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the combined data was ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10.866 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 10.371 million Impressions and the third ODI between India and Australia on DD National with 10.016 million Impressions.
