India ratings: Star Plus returns to No.1 in U&R data

After being dislodged from the No.1 position last week by ZEE TV, Star Plus has made a return to the pole position in combined Urban and Rural data for Week 28 of 2017.

BARC data put Star Plus on top in combined Urban and Rural markets data with 629.101 million Impressions, followed by ZEE TV with 623.641 million Impressions and Rishtey slid to No.3 with 545.792 million Impressions.

In Urban data, Star Plus ruled with 429.222 million Impressions, while ZEE TV remained unchanged at No.2 with 369.689 million Impressions and Colors at No.3 with 344.860 million Impressions. Sony SAB TV was placed at No.4 with 279.497 million Impressions and Sony Entertainment Television was next with 273.327 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Urban market was ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ on ZEE TV with 7.645 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.052 million Impressions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ on Sony SAB TV with 6.178 million Impressions.

In Rural data, ZEE Anmol was at No.1 with 426.111 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 406.106 million Impressions and Sony Pal in third with 379.440 million Impressions. ZEE TV was in fourth with 253.952 million Impressions and Star Utsav in fifth with 219.604 million Impressions.

The top rated show in the Rural region was ‘Naagin – Season 2’ on Rishtey with 7.164 million Impressions, followed by West Indies and India ODI on DD National with 6.854 million Impressions and ‘Jamai Raja’ on ZEE Anmol with 5.056 million Impressions.
