India ratings: Star Plus overtakes Sony MAX
Star Plus has managed to overtake Indian Premier League broadcaster, Sony MAX in the latest ratings, supplied by TAM.
During Week 19, phase 2 of digitasation was updated with Star Plus, Star Life Ok and Sony Entertainment Television Asia seeing a jump in their viewership. Star Plus remained the market leader with 232 GRPs this week (last week 224) – now in the sixth of this season’s IPL. Sony MAX was next with 224 GRPs this week.
However, amongst the entertainment channels, it was ZEE TV in second place with 174 GRPs (last week 175). Sony TV dislodged Colors in third place with 166 GRPs (last week 154). Colors meanwhile was in fourth with 165 GRPs (last week 166).
Sony SAB TV delivered 130 GRPs (last week 131).
Star Life Ok posted 123 GRPs this week (last week 102).
Sahara One got 13 GRPs (last week 15).
