India ratings: Star Plus goes even higher

The juggernaut that is Star Plus has reached yet another high in terms of India viewership ratings, according to Week 44 of 2010 data from TAM.

Thanks to its Diwali offerings over the past seven days, Star Plus touched a massive 391 GRPs, up from 379 last week. Other channels are also expected to see a surge in viewership during the Diwali period.

Colors also upped its audience with 268 GRPs, an increase of 18 points from the week before.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia slid to fourth place with 191, from 208 points last week, while ZEE TV remained steady with 204 points, just ahead by 1 point from last week.

SAB TV surged ahead again with 128 points, while Imagine…Dil Se improved slightly with 111 points.
