India ratings: Star Plus continues to reign

While the Indian Premier League continues to dent viewership of Hindi entertainment channels, Star Plus consolidated its position at the top, according to official data from TAM.

Figures for Week 21 of TAM show Star Plus grew to 699 GTVMs with relative share of 29.63% (last week 681 TVM with 28.77% relative share).

ZEE TV and Colors were down on their viewership last week. The former delivered 387 GTVM with a relative share of 16.41% (last week 394 TVM and 16.65% relative share). Colors slipped to 360 GTVMs with a relative share of 15.26% (last week 367 TVM with 15.50% relative share).

Star Life Ok was in fourth shedding its numbers slightly from 354 TVM last week to 333 TVM and a relative share of 14.12% (last week 14.96%).

Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in fifth and steady with 313 TVM and a relative share of 13.27% (last week 313 TVM and 13.22% relative share).

Sony SAB TV remained bottom but with better numbers this week recording 267 TVM and a relative share of 11.32% (last week 258 TVM TVM and 10.90% relative share).
