India ratings: Star Plus continues to lead way

Star Plus remained the leading Hindi entertainment channel in India, according to official data from TAM for Week 7 of 2011.

The channel notched up 318 GRPs (down from 327 last week). Colors was in second with 238 GRPs, again down from 265 GRPs last week. ZEE TV was in third with 219 GRPs, shedding 31 points from last week.

In fourth was Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 180 points, that’s an increase of 26 TRPs from the week before. SAB TV revitalised form continued with 153 points this week. Despite the launch of ‘Zor Ka Jhatka – Total Wipeout’, the show has been unable to boost the Imagine TV’s ratings in a big way. Imagine TV managed 86 points this week.
