India ratings: Star Plus continues surge; Colors falls
Star Plus extended its lead further in the latest round of India TV ratings, according to official data for Week 27 of 2014.
The broadcaster crossed 700 million-mark this week by adding 44 TVM in this week. It delivered a gross viewership of 704 GTVMs with a relative share of 29.15% (last week 660 TVM with 27.26% relative share).
ZEE TV stregnthened its position at number two after the premiere of ‘Main Tera Hero’ performed exceedingly well. The channel raked in 479 GVTM and a relative share of 19.83% (last week 423 TVM and 17.47% relative share).
Star Life Ok stayed in third place with 348 GTVM and a relative share of 14.41% (last week 358 TVM and 14.79%).
Colors remained in fourth, with a further decline in its ratings. The channel delivered 320 GTVM and a relative share of 13.25% (last week 351 TVM with 14.50% relative share).
Sony Entertainment Television Asia had the biggest fall this week with 288 TVM. It had registered a relative share of 11.93% (last week 349 TVM and 14.42% relative share).
Sony SAB TV was in sixth with 276 TVM with a relative share of 11.43% (last week 280 TVM and 11.57% relative share).
