Star Plus remained India’s No.1 Hindi entertainment channel in the Urban market, according to BARC data for Week 40 of 2018.

Star Plus registered 486.109 million Impressions, followed closely behind by Sony Entertainment Television with 472.936 million Impressions and Colors with 437.079 million Impressions. At No.4, ZEE TV raked in 424.332 million Impressions and Star Bharat next with 370.431 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the Urban market were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 9.901 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 7.930 million Impressions and ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Sony TV with 7.380 million Impressions.

In the Rural region, ZEE Anmol stayed ahead with 672.316 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 584.191 million Impressions and Sony Pal with 490.505 million Impressions. Star Bharat was in fourth with 393.121 million Impressions and Dangal TV with 370.139 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in the Rural market were ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on ZEE Anmol with 10.686 million Impressions, followed by ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ pn Sony Pal with 7.568 million Impressions and ‘Rabba Ve’ on Star Utsav with 7.207 million Impressions.

In the combined Urban and Rural data, ZEE Anmol stayed top with 832.081 million Impressions, followed by Star Utsav with 827.178 million Impressions and Star Bharat with 763.552 million Impressions. At No.4, Star Plus registered 700.178 million Impressions and ZEE TV in fifth with 689.810 million Impressions.

The top rated shows in combined Urban and Rural market were ‘Naagin 3’ on Colors with 14.641 million Impressions, followed by ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on ZEE TV with 13.246 million Impressions and ‘Radhakrishn’ on Star Bharat with 13.017 million Impressions.
