STAR Plus is sitting comfortably at pole position amongst the Hindi entertainment channels in India, according to latest TAM audience figures.
TAM data (HSM 4+ C&S homes) for week ending 14th March shows STAR Plus’ drama ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at the top and rated as the most watched show on Indian television for that week.
‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has clocked a TVR of 6.4, ‘Bidaai’ is not far behind with a TVR of 6.3. In total, STAR Plus’ channel GRP stood at 322. Colors could only manage a GRP of 250.
Colors’ charttopping show ‘Balika Vadhu’ has fallen behind slightly. During this week, the show earned itself 5.9 points.
According to IndianTelevision, new shows ‘Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari’ had an opening week average TVR of 2.3 while ‘Koi Aane Ko Hai�۪ pocketed 2.8. ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ launched with 3.5 TVR.
ZEE TV was in third position with 209 GRPs. ‘Choti Bahu’ remained its top rated show with an average TVR of 3.5. ‘Dance India Dance’ stood steady at an average TVR of 3.1 while ‘Shree’ notched up a TVR of 2.3.
