Star Plus and Colors witnessed a decline amongst the Top 3 Hindi entertainment channels in India, according to official data from TAM for Week 2 of 2015.
Star Plus remained in pole position but suffered a loss since last week’s Big Star Entertainment Awards telecast. The channel was down to 613 GTVM (last week 654 GTVM). Colors was in second place with 510 GTVM (last week 520 GTVM), followed by ZEE TV with 433 GTVM (last week 430 GTVM).
The next tier included Life Ok in fourth place with 339 GTVM, up from last week 338 TVM, SAB TV in fifth with 328 GVTM (last week 335 GTVM) and Sony Entertainment Television Asia down considerably from 264 GTVM last week to 235 GTVM.
The bottom tier saw Big Magic in seventh with 62 GTVM (last week 61 GTVM), followed by Zindagi with 30 GVTM, Sony Pal with 28 GVTM and Epic up from 6 GVTM to 7 GVTM.
